Hi Relja,

I wanted to comment and hopefully complement the information on your video. As usual, it was very good and informative!

-the step-through bike you show near the end is a "Serious" bike. This is the own brand from big German retailer Fahrrad.de. They probably get them from a big manufacturer in Taiwan and there are many in Germany, well priced for the specs.

-the Privateer bike you have is a nice one. They are currently running an offer in Velomine.com for about $260 for frame and fork, but likely after taxes and import fees it won't be interesting for you. If you like that kind of bike, you should get a quality hybrid from the 90's. They are cheap, with nice components and similar tire clearance as your Privateer. Quill stem though, which you don't like. Trek Multitracks, Specialized Crossroads, Univega Via Carisma, etc

-the bolt in your STX brake levers is not to change from cantilever to v brake cable pull. I have the same model with LX branding in grey. That is supposed to change the response of the lever for racing (fast) to normal. If you want levers that can work with cantis and v brakes, get the road ones from Shimano for flat bars. Something like BL-R3000, BL-R4700, BL-R550 or the super nice BL-R780 will do the job and look nice too.

Keep the good work! And don't hate quill stems! :)
