Are there any new insights and info about the latest recipe, the so-called Mark VI? I plan to do a slightly modified (in percentage of ingredients) version:

Chain Oil 28%

(SynthPlus is not really available in stores, but Stihl Forest plus has very similar characteristics, and it is available )

Atf: 58%

Engine oil: 10%

Turpentine: 4%

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I have reverted back to basics - using chain oil with or without mineral spirits (depending on the temperature). It is simpler for me that way.

Hmmm 🤔
Maybe NISOTEC KOMPRESOL VDL 100 will do better job than chain oil?

I am willing to try this formula:

ATF : 65%

Synthetic Compressor Oil ISO VG 100: 20%

Light Machine Oil : 10%

Mineral Spirits: 5%

Additives:

2.5–5 g PTFE powder per 150–200 ml bottle
