If you're curious about my personal (and quite blunt) opinion on GDPR - here's an article I wrote about what it really means for small websites like this one:
GDPR vs. Common Sense

This data is anonymized and used solely to understand and improve the forum's functionality and performance.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using browser extensions or privacy tools like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger.

Rights

You can ask to access the personal data we hold about you or obtain a copy of it (that's basically your email and username). To do so please contact us. If you believe that the information we hold for you is incomplete or inaccurate, you may contact us to ask us to complete or correct that information.

No, we won't search through all the posts to see if there might be any of your personal stuff published anywhere on the forum. That's your job - if you yourself posted it, or see someone else has posted and it has somehow slipped past the moderators. For any such stuff, contact us with a link to the "problematic" post(s), and we'll see if it's OK to edit or outright delete it (or if your request is utter nonsense). We try to be just and reasonable, but can't promise to delete stuff just because a member thinks it should be deleted.

You also have the right to request the erasure of your personal data. Please contact us if you would like us to remove your personal data. However, deleting your posts, especially if they have replies where your posts have been quoted, is a very tedious undertaking that might even break forum's functioning (flow of conversations for sure). That is why we advise you don't disclose any of your personal information that you don't wish to see disclosed (i.e. think about what you post before you post it). The same goes for your username - pick one you are not (going to be) ashamed of and that doesn't infringe on your privacy.

Again, we can't promise to delete stuff because a forum member requests it to be deleted.

Note for EU visitors (GDPR compliance)

This forum is owned and operated from Serbia and hosted in the United States. It is not established in the European Union and does not target, market to, or offer services specifically to EU residents.

Accordingly, this forum is not operated as a GDPR-regulated service.

Users from the European Union are nevertheless free to register and participate under the same rules and conditions as all other users worldwide. No EU-specific rights, processes, or guarantees are offered beyond what is described in this policy.

As outlined in the "Rights" section, requests for the erasure of forum posts are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
In other words: Forum posts are generally treated as public content rather than personal data.

We retain forum posts and account-related data indefinitely to preserve the integrity of conversations, prevent abuse, and maintain the long-term usefulness of the site archive.
